How to Ride a Bike – Adult Classes

Learning to ride a bike offers participants a life-changing new skill. One that not only offers benefits for physical and mental health, but it’s also good for the environment! We will provide in-person, on-bike, bike riding classes for the 6% of our community who do not know how to ride.

Mobile Pantry Project

This initiative project aims to address food insecurity and promote personal hygiene by providing essential items to those in need. The Mobile Pantry will bring sustenance and hygiene products directly to the heart of our campus, ensuring accessibility and convenience for all.

Healthy Beverage Initiative

Choosing free, filtered water over sugary drinks can have a profound effect on the environment, your wallet and your health.

UC Davis Celebrates Eight Years of Being Smoke and Tobacco Free

Research shows there has been significant progress in reducing tobacco use on campus in the eight years since the UC system implemented its 100% Smoke and Tobacco Free policy. Several tools and resources are available for individuals to continue making a difference.

Break Free from Tobacco: Gift Card Incentive Program

Interested in quitting tobacco but not sure where to start? We can help with our gift card incentive program! Open to students, staff and academics. Students: 
  • Meet with the Intervention Services Coordinator at Student Health and Counseling Services 3 times within 3 months. Services available include obtaining medication through Student Health and Counseling Services (SHCS) health care providers, biofeedback and individual cessation counseling.
