The Healthy Campus Network (HCN) is a UC-wide initiative aimed at making UC the healthiest place to work, learn and live. At UC Davis, partners responsible for programs impacting the health and well-being of our community are providing support, information, resources and tools capable of helping staff, faculty and students engage in healthy behaviors. This initiative serves all of UC Davis.
The UC Davis Healthy Campus Network is focused on five strategic goals, the first of which is creating comprehensive, integrative, and collaborative leading practice programs. Seed funding from the UC Office of the President will allow the group to tackle a number of first-year priorities and projects.
The UC Davis Healthy Campus Network consists of a steering committee and four subcommittees focused on improving outcomes in each of the following focus areas. Specifically, the groups will develop an Expansion Project (i.e., expand an existing program related to their focus area) and a Signature Project (i.e., initiate something new related to their focus area).
