Shopping at the Market
The UC Davis Farmers Market accepts various forms of payment including:
- Cash
- Debit or Credit card – Market attendees purchase market dollars at the Market Information table.
- EBT – Market attendees can exchange EBT with Farmers Market tokens at the Market Information table. Additionally, when someone spends their CalFresh benefits at the market, they receive extra funds in the form of market dollars. Market Match matches up to $15.00 of EBT with $15.00 in market dollars.
- Aggie Cash – Students with an Aggie Cash balance can exchange the value for market dollars at the Market Information table.
- Aggie Fresh - AggieFresh is a supplemental nutrition program similar to CalFresh that provides up to $298 a month for groceries and restaurant meals. Learn how to use AggieFresh at the Market information table.
- Market Dollars - These can be ordered in $5 increments to be used toward any produce purchase at the market on campus. No change will be given. Use them as departmental incentives for health promotions or as a thank-you for a job well done. To order market dollars, please complete this form.
