How to Ride a Bike – Adult Classes

Learning to ride a bike offers participants a life-changing new skill. One that not only offers benefits for physical and mental health, but it’s also good for the environment! We will provide in-person, on-bike, bike riding classes for the 6% of our community who do not know how to ride.

Health TEAM Lab

The Health TEAM Lab provides UC Davis students, staff, and faculty a place to: learn about health literacy, receive standardized health metric testing/reporting, and communicate with a support group to help facilitate healthy behavior changes.

Helmet Hair Don't Care

Helmet Hair Don't Care is a campus-wide bike safety initiative that will provide bike safety training and free bike helmets to students, staff, and faculty. 

Walker Tracker Platform Pilot

A pilot program to bring Walker Tracker, a physical activity platform, to the UC Davis community. The program encourages friendly competition to increase physical activity through virtual challenge maps and device synchronization.

Active Aggies Mobile

Providing classes in various districts around the UC Davis campus, making it more convenient for folks to access, get a workout in and not have to go very far from their place of employment. 

Take the Stairs!

The campaign positions “point of decision” prompts at strategic elevator banks encouraging students, faculty, staff, and visitors to use the stairs instead of the elevator.

Walking Promotion

This project will install marked walking paths with distance and directional signage on the UC Davis and UC Davis Medical Center campuses.

WakeBreak

WakeBreak (formerly FitBreak) is an opportunity for staff and faculty at the UC Davis Medical Center to improve health and well -being through fun and active healthy fitness breaks during their shift.
