Stress Resilience for Academics & Staff

Stress Resilience Programs
Staff & Academics

Organized by the Staff & Faculty Health and Well-being Program:

  • Mindfulness Meditation  Sessions include both mindfulness and heartfulness (e.g., loving kindness) practices - both of which are receiving increasing scientific support as an effective way to manage stress and promote wellbeing.

  • Mindful Awareness Practice (MAP) Course – The course is suitable for those who are new to mindfulness as well as those who would like to revitalize their practice and is offered at no cost to UC Davis Staff and Faculty.

  • Mindfulness Ambassadors – Mindfulness Ambassadors are not trained or expected to teach or facilitate mindfulness meditation sessions, but they do provide a vital service by creating supportive opportunities for their fellow employees to practice mindfulness at work.

  • Seeds of Well-being Workshops – A series of workshops designed to help you develop the seeds of practical skills that you can plant in your day-to-day life, to cultivate your wellbeing.
