The guidelines encourage campus dining services operators to alter current recipes and develop new recipes that meet the guidelines. Together we can create a campus environment with more accessible, nourishing options!
The Nourish UC Davis guidelines were developed by a team of UC Davis nutrition and dining professionals from Student Health and Counseling Services, Housing and Dining Services, Occupational Health, ASUCD Dining Services and UC Davis Health. The 2015 Dietary Guidelines for Americans and feedback collected in focus groups with UC Davis students and staff informed the chosen criteria.
