We each heal at our own pace. Coming together can help ease our burdens.
On June 1, everyone in Davis is invited to reflect, remember and reconnect with each other for the Davis Day of Reflection.

This self-paced event welcomes community members to travel the Davis Reflection Route, with opportunities along the way for quiet contemplation and shared conversations.
Join the Davis Reflection Route for as long as you’d like any time that day, starting and stopping where it’s convenient to you.
Join in-person at reflection points, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
While the Davis Reflection Route will be available all day, tables at reflection points along the path will be staffed from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with professionals and students from the Health 34 initiative, Aggie Mental Health Ambassadors, Yolo County Mental Health employees, City of Davis staff members and UC Davis Wellness Ambassadors. The teams will help facilitate reflection activities and be available to offer support and provide resources, as needed.
At the reflection points, participants can join in public art and offer their own messages of grief, connection and hope. Community members are invited to mourn our losses together, to share the many ways we care about and uplift each other, and to envision ways we can move forward.
Thanks for sharing your reflections online too
Along the path and throughout the day, we invited participants to reflect on hope, processing loss and connecting with the community. While online submissions have now closed, here are messages offered by community members who took a moment to reflect.
