Overdose Prevention
Naloxone saves lives.
Introduction:
The goal of this project is to reduce the harm from substance use and prevent fatal overdose, by promoting risk modification through enhanced access to naloxone and increase community awareness of the role of naloxone in overdose through education. This will enhance community well-being and save lives.
Outcomes:
1. Place naloxone storage boxes on campus.
2. Maintain naloxone storage boxes with naloxone for public access.
3. Enhance the education and awareness regarding naloxone through just in time training at naloxone storage boxes.
